Hey everyone! It's been way too long since I last wrote. But you know what? I have a lot of things to say and work on.
My relationship with my ex fell apart. But we're amazing friends now and I'm glad that things ended the way that they did. We needed different people, we were great at communicating but we weren't relationship material. You remember that guy I met in the car crash last December? Yea well he's my wonderful boyfriend now, I guess fate really took it's toll on me. He's now in Marine Corps boot camp...of course! I guess once you get into the lifestyle you can't get out of it.
Alright, another update for anyone who doesn't know. I turned 18 this year. I've been dealing with the Marine Corps since I was 16 and I've been through boot camp all the way to deployment. I'm giving you advice as an 18 year old but I was giving you that advice when I was 16 going on 17. I just thought that it was fair for everyone to know now.
Our Marine Corps websites the parent and significant other websites will be revamped this year. One of the Marine wives and I are also working on writing a book about our experiences with the Marine Corps. I feel that that will sum up everything we have done in the past year and a half. Everyone has been so supportive and helpful. We will be returning the favor and soon we're hoping to have the websites going to real domains. But with the budgets we have with college, work, and school it's going to take a little bit.
Here's my little bit of advice with this. For everyone who is going through deployment, boot camp, or any other form of military activity, remember that life is what you make it. Happiness is also what you make it. If you stay positive and remember that you agreed long to be in this for the long haul then you will be fine. Do not give up hope. It's Veteran's Day today and you need to remember that your love is out there risking their life so everyone else doesn't have to. It's always important to stay positive and have their back no matter what the situation is. I know you ladies are stronger than you think and I know you can do this. Remember you can email me any time of day and I'll do what I can to respond! Take care!
